Inter Milan star Stevan Jovetic, who is trying to recover from a failed move to Manchester City, says that he is ready to play in any position manager Roberto Mancini wants him to play.

Jovetic was regarded as one of the brightest young talents from Italian football only a few seasons ago, but the 24-year-old is now fighting for his future. The Montenegro international has already scored three goals in just two Italian Serie A matches. If he continues on this rich vein of form, there is every chance that Inter Milan could help him return to Italy on a permanent basis.

At the moment,Jovetic is back with Inter Milan on a loan spell. He looked extremely prolific in the opening three matches when he was playing as the centre forward, but Mancini was criticised for using him in a withdrawn role in the 1-1 draw against Palermo.Jovetic, though, maintained that he had no issues about featuring in any role as long as the manager is happy to play him.Jovetic says that he is at the club only to help the team and not worry about his personal achievements. This attitude is likely to help the 25-year-old in the long-term, as Inter seem like back to their old self.

"I'm here to help the team and I'm happy to do a different job every game if it means the opposition don't know what to expect from me.Sometimes when we're in trouble I drop back to help out the team but I like being closer to the goal. The coach told me to stay behind Mauro [Icardi] and drop deep to collect the ball and help the rest of the team. I feel quite good. I did a lot of running on Saturday and we have another game against Bologna in three days' time,” said the player.
