The latest round of Championship fixtures saw Blackburn Rovers entertain Derby County at Ewood Park on Tuesday in a crucial game for both sides. Frank Lampard led Derby were seeking an important win in their late bid to make the playoffs. While Tony Mowbray’s Rovers was looking to consolidate on their mid-table position.
Both managers set up their teams to attack in the game on a cold Tuesday night but Blackburn came out victorious in a hard fought 2-0 victory. Derby started well with some missed chances early in the first half as they looked to make a quick start. Harry Wilson had their best opportunity at the end of a quick counterattack but the on-loan Liverpool forward fired just wide of the post.
