Blackburn manager Steve Kean is thought to be looking at the possibility of bringing QPR striker Jamie Mackie to Ewood Park in the summer transfer window. The QPR forward has been linked with a move away from the club after failing to impress manager Mark Hughes, who is looking to bring in several high profile players to the club in the summer.

Blackburn are currently struggling with relegation this season.

There is a real danger that they may go down this season. This would be the first time that a Premier league winning club would be relegated from the division. Bolton, QPR, Wigan, and Wolverhampton Wanderers other clubs fighting against relegation.

Blackburn Rovers defender Gaël Givet has said that the rumours of him refusing to play against Swansea in the Premier league are untrue.

Blackburn Rovers are struggling with relegation this season.

After that two back-to-back wins for Wigan, only four teams are now involved in the relegation fight – Blackburn, Bolton, QPR, and Wolves. It has been rumoured that Gaël Givet failed to turn up for the match against Swansea after saying that he was not in the right frame of mind.

The statement comes after the 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which helped Blackburn get out of the relegation zone at this crucial stage of the season.

FANS TAKE TO THE STREETS

The fans of English Premier League club Blackburn Rovers are ready to take to the streets once again in protest against the ownership of the club by Indian hatcheries giant Venky’s prior to the game against fellow English Premier League club Aston Villa.

BRFC Action Group, which has been immensely critical of the Venky’s ownership of the club ever since they took over the club almost a year and half back now, have planned to stage three marches that will begin at the same time from three different parts of the city, ultimately culminating at Ewood Park, the home ground of the club.

KEAN NEEDS TO GET DEFENSIVE

Blackburn Rovers were disappointing in their latest match, which they lost 2-1 to Stoke City.

There had been high expectations from the Rovers fans, who had hoped to see the club build on the success of their previous two matches – when they managed a draw at Anfield and managed a stunning 3-2 victory against Manchester United.

However, their performance against Stoke was not quite as impressive, and left the manager Steve Kean disappointed, and on the edge.
